Seriously though.....
I agree that he has batting achievements and even his issues should be correctable...but PCB has a lot more options....

Point taken but where he his wicket keeping at times has cost us matches he has also saved us from embarassements when our brilliant batsmen have failed miserably. Works both ways.
You need to understand that how a catch drop can affect the morals of a bowler, team mates, and captain!!! specially when its 2 drops in 3 balls, missed stumps, byes, other catch drops etc ???
Not only the bowler's loses track but whole team gets under pressure, that can affects game plan and statregy which is in captain's mind! Captain loses patience and makes wrong decisions and whole team is off the track!
This is how 'JUST A Bad Day of Mr. Kaman Akmal' can affect!!!
At this price we dont need his runs from his bat!!! do we?

I can't believe that in a vastly cricket crazy and talented country there is not 1 good international level WK that can replace Akmal....come on.....
I know the pressure in WC is immense...but don't tell me there is no one...
Use Rashid latif, Salim yousuf and bari and let them pick a keeper.....if he can bat good, but please pick him for keeping first...
Gadha khan administration is so frustrating...
