Nothing wrong with being good Muslims.
However, these guys are not paid to go spread Islam all over the world. They are paid to play a competitive sport to the best of their ability.
These guys go and preach Islam on foreign trips, doing things like gathering the whole squad and praying out on the outfield - all for public consumption.
If you want to pray, great. Do so in the privacy of the dressing room or your own rooms…not the outfield of international cricket stadiums or the ailes of airplanes. Please dont consider yourself as preachers…you guys are players not preachers.
Inzamam was the one who started all this and Yousef has continued the trend.
You dont see any other country doing what our players are doing…their religion is equally important to them, even if they are non believers…yet you dont see them preaching to the world while they are out playing a cricket match in a foreign country.
Other teams are focussed on winning…our players are busy trying to convert people while they are overseas.
