n wht about shahan's mother n wife reaction... they didnt showed anything :(
When Shahan confessed on tv his mum was upset/crying and his wife was crying throughout but his wife's main concern was Noor but it doesn't appear to have a large impact . Izat isn't mentioned after that scene. Only if they could have shown Syed Omar coming to term with Izat being his daughter or regreting he's done wrong and a bit about how Shahans mum and wife treat her it would have been more fullfilling .
The drama was about Kafir (humayon).. it doesn’t really matter what happens to Syed Umar and Tipu. The main storyline was about Shahaan and Izat, and it was a great end to a fantastic drama.
Again found everything to be over the top where I did not feel any sympathy for the characters. Everyone was wearing black and crying without any emotional impact at least for me.
There was definitely no subtlety whatsoever LOL
I thought the maulvi sahab part was done well until he said "tum ne bohat bura kiya hai Shahan sub se jaa ker maafi maango etc. etc." - how did maulvi sahab know what Shahan has done when he just told me not to tell him anything? It became comical at that point unfortunately.
lol, Rukhsaar... I picked up on that too. One minute the maulvi is saying he doesnt want to know and the next minute he knows everything??
I cried thrrough most of the episode though, even though I connected with hardly any of the characters. But watching humayun cry and the interaction with the dead Noor... that sort of set me off. I thnk he did really well through most part of the episode... i especially loved his dialogoue "woh mujhe apne ghar nahin aane de raha... " and the scene just before where he cant set foot in the masjid.. loved it
