well they all are liberal minded people and they want to show odd things without any hesistation but they were bound by Ptv policies at that time (those all restriction policies were against their wishes). There are some people in tv industry who don’t even believe in GOD so you can think of their menatlity.

I don't get why people think just because someone doesn't believe in God that they're bound to have a bad mentality?

i mentioned this statement particularly for some pakistani tv artists (obviously it doesn't mean all atheists are associated with bad mentality). These artists/directors/producers intentionally want to do something odd in dramas just to promote non-conservative thinking and some atheist artists fully support these acts.

So?

If peoples' religious beliefs are strong enough then if something non religious is being promoted it shouldn't affect them really should it?

Says who? You do know not every single person in Pakistan is a strict Muslim, right?

If they're breaking pre-established rules then sure they shouldn't otherwise I don't see why people have a problem. They can easily switch the channel.

If we were practicing Muslims we would not be watching drama in the first place
Like muqa and hybrid said there is no censor in pakistan and these tv channels are not bound by policies so simply switching the channel won’t help as every other drama is showing such crap.
Drama is for entertainment and vulgarity in the name of entertainment is not acceptable.If you have read previous comments most of us have agreed that we will not watch it as it has crossed the limits.HUM TV’s website got hacked for promoting vulgarity few weeks ago.

P.S: This is not an argument just my opinion.

I think being in TV production in Pakistan do affect this mentality. One who doesn't believe in the God majority follows (irrespective of their religion) as is the case with Pakistanis, may be subject to such suspicion.

I personally don't know about people in Pakistani TV industry who don't believe in God, but as far as Sultan Siddiqui (owner of Hum TV) is concerned, her track record is not that clean. She had created controversies in 1990s by producing a drama revolving around Halala (without hilighting the essence that Halala can't be planed). Moreover, Hum TV is at large in showing such scenes. One of such scene was shown in drama 'Hamnasheen' depicting gay sex in a bad and suggestive / open way.

^^ exactly, its a fact that majority of people in pakistan can’t accept vulgar/rubbish content, what happened with style 360 and aag channel ( i think no need to mention about their content ), no one was watching these channels. Secondly we are audience so we have full right to criticize on bad contents.

Horrible horrible drama... Beti baap ke rishtay ko kia kar dia. Astagfar. A grown up daughter doing this to the father... helping her friend take pics in wahiyat halat.. There should be a formal complaint. Who approved this drama?? She is after her BROTHER now. It can't get any worse then this. Dramas are for entertainment purpose but this is wayyyyyyy to much.

secondly agar in logoun nay hut ker story common ghisay pittay dramoun say bana di so is mein harj kya hai…???

i dont get it, why so much fuss ppl!!! mahnoor baloch ka item number bardaasht ker leeya logoun nay aur ye jo aik psychopath lerki hai wo ye sab ker rahi hai so bardaasht nahi hota…

seedhi c baat hai, hulkay dil waaloun k liye ye drama hai he nahi…
