An old photograph of Ka’ba. Ordinary people used to have access to the inside of Ka’ba but now it is available to only Kings and highly connected government officials.

why don't they open the doors to the Kabaa so that muslims can go in there and have a look

M2K. Please read all the posts above. They banned it. Propably after the 1979 occuaption by the extremist salafies.

Amazing pics. Thank you for sharing them. I will have to show them to Noor, my daughter.
We have a sort replica of the doors of the Kabah done in Gold hung on the wall of my bedroom and when I explained to Noor that it's the door to Allah's house on earth, she asked me to open it so that she can look inside. She will be thrilled to see these photos.

They are afraid that non arabs...specifically non sunni arabs may get the divine luxury of seeing the inside of our history.
