TTP that's mostly Pakistani is being taken care of, and has been severely weakened, if not completely eliminated. TTP that's operating from Afghanistan is more problematic and dangerous, as Pakistani fighter jets cannot be used to take them out. But their network, strategic helpers, agents, operatives and sympathisers can certainly be destroyed.

Any news to prove that? I don't see any action against LeJ, SSP, JuD, JnD anywhere else in Pakistan.

One depressing reality is that many of the Afghan Mahajirins have already taken up Pakistani citizenship because of how lax and flawed our National Identity Card process used to be… Most of them are here to stay.

I would like to believe that the operation that’s been going in NWA for last seven months is rooting out TTP. As to the million dollar question that why no action is ever prescribed to take out the Punjab based terrorist groups - unfortunately, I have no answer to that.

Last night on a news channel it was reported that wide-spread arrests are on-going against different extremist groups, lots of people arrested, some TTP (13-15??) killed in Karachi near Sohrab Goth. I hope all the arrests/killings are against the right person and no innocents are caught for being enemy of an influential etc.
