You are right, children often pay for the misdeed of their parents, in this case if the murdered parents were guilty then their guilt has gone with their life.. but i’ve seen few cases, where the one of the parents have done crimes/sins and the children have paid either by being killed or humiliation on daily basis or one of the child have become vegetable… i guess in this case, the parents have done something terrible, something against which some weak person ( victim) possibly have gave them bd’dua and they are suffering by seeing their loved one suffer… as u rightly said, person have to pay for his deeds in this world as well ( Allah ta’la hamay maaf farmaye aur taufeq day kay hm soch samjh ker baat kernay kay kabil hooN aur agr na ker sakaiN tu khamosh rehnay ka hosla day - Ameen)
