Re: Just look at the score card of this test match!!!

Nobody is insulting you my friend. The fact is that even Australia were harrassed by such antics when West Indies had such fearsome bowlers. But none of the other teams were as melodramatic about it as India was. Bedi specially is a bit of a drama queen, although I do respect his stature as a spinner.

Re: Just look at the score card of this test match!!!

I agree with you that Bedi is anomaly.. a little eccentric I should say. But, the point I have been trying to make amongst all the noise is that you can't paint an entire team or country with the same brush for a decision made by one individual.

I have followed cricket amongst all countries, not only India's matches right from the 70's ... there was too much to lose for Lloyd in this match, and he did go overboard.

There were so many times people like Mohinder Amarnath & Sandeep Patil who have been injured and come back strongly. Gavaskar, and Viswanath were lucky due to their height (or lack of it) to avoid serious injury and they were also good against quick bowling.

Other players that were really good against quick bowling were Wasim Raja (my favorite pakistani cricketer) and Richards.
