No racism intnted but people from Karachi and Lahore are more open to different cultures than people from other part of Pakistan.
On a similar note, south Indians are not as open as north indians when it comes to mingling with other cultures.
^Why do you think that is though? And is it still the same here in the US? People living in the South are less open to diversity than those in the north?
Could it be due to industrialization? For example, the Northern US...Karachi/Lahore being more developed.....therefore having greater global connections....hence greater tolerance for diversity? Or perhaps demographics....diverse groups migrating to one area of a country more so than others? Maybe a combination.
Again (IMO) I think one of the reasons is that India is so diverse. It’s been led by rulers of various religions. I remember hearing (and my told me as well) that India has had Muslim/Sikh presidents. Although…it’s the prime minister that seems to hold more power than the president and I wonder how diverse that has been. At the same time, India is not completely devoid of prejudice…example: the caste system, and skin color bias are issues there as well.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...........i had this classfellow from karachi and he was so much against PAKIS......so much for accepting different cultures when you can not even accept your own.
as far as indians being more friendly , it is true........indians are far more social but that is for their own good and selfish reasons.........as per my observation they are friendlier with people who can help them in some way. It is just my opinion.
