JUI-F is the pinnacle of Truth and Honesty in Pakistani politics, and its’ head is a very principled and stand-up guy. The only problem is, others I know don’t believe them or much of what this party says because they see this party’s head as opportunist, fork-tongued, who would use Islam to justify all things haraam so long as it benefits him in terms of obtaining power. So, I don’t know…tough call.

What you said of JUI-F chief is true. What JUI-F chief said about “ISI within ISI” is also true. In a country where even a police constable abuses his power, it would be insane to believe that an organization as strong as ISI would be doing everything legally. The question is, should ISI be as rogue as a police constable? The answer is an absolute no. Another question is, does every spy agency around the world operate within its legitimate domain? The answer is again a big no.

The next question is: So how do we get a perfect spy agency? I believe the answer is time. As we all want to give democracy time to properly settle in, we will need to wait patiently that once the democratic systems take their places, everything, including the ISI, would start to fall in its place.
