I might as well ask my Journal question here, since we are on the same page.

If I comment in someone’s (aap nahin, bhaijaan :p) journal a day or two ago, and let’s say, 15-20 new Journals have spawned since then…The journal I commented two days ago is likely to move to second page, and third page, and so on and so forth. Is it possible for me to check my last Journal comment directly, instead of scrolling all the pages to see the one in where I last commented?

There is no such feature planned to added any time in near future.

of course if you reply in a random thread, and after a few days that thread might hav died, so in order to find you reply in that thread, you’ll go either search for it or have a look in the thread list, the same goes for journals…

Private journals have been giving trouble from the start. It is still in development (beta) stage. Have some patience if something doesnt work exactly as you want it to work, or it used to work. That is (as I have mentioned before many times) due to the fact, that some functionalties have been removed or changed this version.
A new version is expected soon, so hold your breath.

There is a search feature in the Journals. Just like the one above for the forums. It doesn't seem to work. I think it is disabled. So the admins have to look into it.

Okay, I hate to bother you with the same problem again and again.. sachi :halo:
But you see, I have been trying to comment in AQ’s journal’s private entry. But I am not able to do so. I mean, it works the way DB has described. But I want my comment to be private as well. I dont see anything wrong with the whole journal being private. I mean, my journal is private and the comments link works fine with my buddies. But the problem is with a specific private entry, while the whole journal is open to all.
I hope you understand.

Alright, I will make a private entry in my journal and you comment in that, phir dekhti hoon!

I will try to check with that account, hopefully can sort it out then.

But like I said, Private journals and specially private entries have been giving us problems ever since this upgrade, and some things still need to be resolved. But work is in progress I can tell you. But of course takes time sometimes.

On another note, in order to find the last post of an individual, I am under an impression that is easily searchable through one’s posts section, such as this. If such is the case, is there also a similar way to look at the last post in the Journals section (instead of the threads section)?

Please do correct my thinking.

Yes, Gizzy bhai, the search feature is disabled. Well, atleast for me, when I try it. I go to my journal and type in, lets say, bizz and I get this page.

This must be something to do with persimssions in any journal. Like if a journals is private or something. Try searching in some other journal, or in your own. I'll have a look at this issue aswell.

Yes, Thanks. This would be much better now. You can do advanced search in the journal and search for your OWN comments, as per Dhobi bhai.
