It is these power plays by the army that has stopped the country from developing and reaching its potential. Only people of Pakistan have the right to decide who rules not some person employed on their taxes to do a job instead of trying to make choices on behalf of the public.

90% wrong. It is the 80-100% corruption that has stopped country from reaching its potential. 100% corruption in PPP days and 80% (or more) in PMLN days. PPP consumed the whole darn budget 100% and did not produce a single project worth the money they consumed, while PMLN does produce some projects but the 80% or more corruption takes away much of what could’ve been a better or more projects away. Stop blaming army for corruption our politicians do, army does not stop you from coming up with development projects, army does not ask you to do 80-100% corruption, army does not stop you from using the money on the project it was sanctioned for. There is time and place for everything, but putting all lack of development blame on army just silly.
