Yeah I dont think there is anything wrong with it - especially since she is'nt muslim. But if you are then I dont think you should. Iif you let one thing slip and start celebrating christmas before you know it you start losing other things to its just the way things go, but thats another issue all togeather.

You know what I dont understand? The double standard around here. First of all, this lady says shes not Muslim. So she's not. No need to try and find "proof" of that because once someone says theyre not Muslim then im pretty sure they're NOT. And second, everyone is so quick to judge what she's wearing. Now, personally, I had the same initial reaction. But you know what, she's a well-educated female who has kids and im sure is married. If her husband has no problem with the way she dresses, and since shes not Muslim (the biggest reason being shes NOT Muslim) then I dont think any one of us should talk. Also, if you go into the fashion section on this site, a LOT of that stuff can easily be labeled "inappropriate" and sure-fire UnIslamic. And those are Muslim women. Modeling spaghetti strap shirts and tight clothes that outline the entire body. So yea, we can all praise whats her face.."Iman Ali" for being so pretty in her scantily-clad outfits but here we are attacking a woman for wearing what she’s wearing and shes not even Muslim.

Guyz I am thankful to all the good friends I have thru GS. Its a nice warm feeling, the one you feel when you’ve just been to a Carols by Candle light and all you wanna do is sing christmas carols when you are the one who hates them all thru the year :–D
No offence to anyone but religion is personal and I dont like disussing it. All in all, Ive got my insecurities and downs and ups but I am thankful to that diety up there for giving me 2 very wonderful reasons to keep pushing this wheel of life.
Back to the Chrissie tree, the girls wanted it and they got it. Period. I dont want the girls to grow up as I did wondering why we couldnt have a shiny tree around the house. They wanna celebrate eid they can and if they wanna celebrate thats what they get. My world revolves around my girls and if they want me to jump from the 12th story, i will.
