Multiple news outlets (CNN, Al Jazeera, RT, AP, etc.) independent of each other have reported this news. For it to be a hoax there has to be a big international conspiracy where news sources from multiple countries colluded to come up with this. On the other hand, rebuttal is coming from blogs (Counterpunch is a blog) that sounds more credible? Funny part is that some people here argue about who this Ben Jeddu person is & if he exist at all. Here is Jeddou’s address in Arabic to the National Constituent Assembly.
Does this justify it as correct? News agencies normaly pick stories from each other and incase of muslims normaly do not try to verify/deliberatly misreport them. We have seen multiple similar instances, ever heard of WMD?
