Multiple news outlets (CNN, Al Jazeera, RT, AP, etc.) independent of each other have reported this news. For it to be a hoax there has to be a big international conspiracy where news sources from multiple countries colluded to come up with this. On the other hand, rebuttal is coming from blogs (Counterpunch is a blog) that sounds more credible? Funny part is that some people here argue about who this Ben Jeddu person is & if he exist at all.
