I had seen some on ebay some time back but they were very very expensive about £2,000!!! For that much money, I can have my "karigar" from my pind come to the UK and make it for me over here. lol

Do you need the Jhoola as a part of your furniture or just for shaadi / photography. If you need it as a permanent thing then maybe just buy one from Pakistan and have it shipped. You can buy these from various places in Lahore (if you do not want to travel to Chiniot). IN Lahroe there used to be numerous shops on Ferozepur road once you cross "Qanchi" - there are some shops in Cavalary Ground (if you do not take the bridge and go via the "Phatak" route. You can then arrange with any "Freight Forwarder" to have these personal items shipped (make sure that they are declared as personal otherwise you will end-up paying high taxes etc in the UK.

If it is just for a wedding then you can easily talk to a "wedding deco company" as most of them have various styles of sofas and jhoolas...if you are looking for this for pictures maybe then you can ask a photographer about this.

there is a company here in chicago that imports them for fairly reasonable prices, and will even take custom orders to design your own. i had their business card, maybe they could of helped you out but i dont have it anymore, im sure there is someone around the UK doing the same thing... hope you find it! i have always dreamed of a pakistani jhoola in my home they are so elegant!!
