There’s a very strong cultural influence among Jews to support Israel. I read an article in Time about how the current generation is becoming disenchanted with the actions of Israel. Keep in mind that before the internet, the news about Israel was only heard through the mainstream media, and we know how biased they can be.
The reality is that almost 70% of the citizens of Israel support the creation of a Palestinian state, and they support the PLA going to the UN for full membership. Yet their government continues to war monger and oppress millions of people.
