I wore chandi gold plated on my wedding. I have no interest in gold whatsoever it’s too expensive, but my mum insisted on buying something… so I bought a bunch of completely plain gold bangles for investment purposes. I’ll keep them for the next 10-20 years inshAllah then sell them off for a profit. I don’t get the obsession with gold. These days artificial sets are made so beautifully you can’t even tell if it’s real or not - and no-one’s gonna come up to you on the wedding day and actually ask if your set’s real or not… at least no-one did to me lol!
