I have lots of information on the Jehovah's Witnesses. I have most of the refutation material against them by the mainstream Christians too, I have Ahmed Deedat's material and archives upon archives of their own Watchtower magazines and Search leaflets, etc.

I love them! I really do they are so nice up front and the best way to 'get rid of them' is to be nicer than them. I know it sounds weird, but I don't seek to ever get rid of them ... they are nice people generally speaking. Also I think Ibn Sadique can provide you with a few pointers so drop him a PM.

My dad loves them too. He makes them promise that they will come back but many times they don't come back.

I'll see if I can gather some good material and put it on a website then I will send you a PM to download it inshaAllah.

I used to invite them inside. Offer them tea and cookies. Anything they would say I would tell them what Islam says about it. I would only let them in over the weekends in the morning when I had some free time otherwise I would tell then that I was sorry I was busy or going out and they will leave. Then I moved . In the new neighborhood they did not start visiting yet.

This is what I did:

I told them that I appreciate their effort but I'd like to make it clear that I am a muslim and very strict about my faith and practice. I am not willing to look at any other option, and that I know that we agree that there is only one God but we additionally beleive that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last messenger. Then I told them that I would really appreciate it if they would not come again for this purpose because I am all set in my thoughts. Politely but firmly.

They never came again!

Jee, you guys (and girls) are lucky!

I have the utmost difficulty to get them to visit me.

How do you people succeed? I enjoy talking to them and in reality know their religion better than themselves. Even had the South African college head in my home at one time. Now my home is "marked" and they won't come again :(

Some pointers to differences between mainstream Christianity and Jehovas (also reasons why they are not considered as Christianity but rather an offshoot sect):

They believe Jesus is an archangel
They don't believe in hell as a place of torture
They don't believe in the Tri-Une concept of God
They believe that they are the only correct way to everlasting life
They believe only 144 000 can go to heaven - and this number are already full
They believe they will have families after the Final Day and use their time rectifying/improving the Earth because of all the bad humans have done to it
They don't believe in violence but don't see anything wrong in having others sin by using violence on their behalf
They are very tightly controlled and even their visiting (or "witnessing") time and energy are closely documented and scrutinized
If one of their followers step out of line, they are shunned as being "dead" by even his/her own family
They have so many doctrines that differ with standard Bible interpretation and translation that they made their own translation changing the Bible to corresponds with their doctrines. They will NEVER give detail to the people that did the translation so one can check the translator's experience or abilities.
Only the lucky 144 000 are allowed to partake in the Christian Communion
They don't believe in the Holy Spirit

They make people together for the majority that will continue living on this Earth after the final Judgement Day. There will be an initial 1000 years during which these people will have peace and during which they will attempt to rectify all that was done with polution, etc. After the 1000 years they will live under the rule of Jesus on the "repaired" Earth.

If you want to see some dumb looks (as well as to get an indication as to how much the poor average Jehova has been indoctrinated), ask him/her whether they will be part of the 144 000. In 99,9% cases they will say they are not part of the 144 000. Ask them then whether the 144 000 is fully taken up and they will answer that some few spots are still open. THEN ask them why they don't attempt to gain those few spots still available, and they will either not be able to answer OR say they don't deserve it. Some few has indoctrinated these poor people into accepting a fate less than what the leaders reserve for themselves!

There is a inviter (The one who invites other) and there is a invitee.
When we stop preaching Islam, conveying the true message to others, we became Invitee, now Jehovah witness invests come to us and invites us to their religion, Hindu invite us to their religion in the forum of their bollywood movies.

They those who agree with Bush and fox news also agree with Christian imperialism.

ah the tablighi jamaat of the Christian world.

do what i used to do when tablighies used to visit my room. stand outside your room when you see them coming and start banging on it with an annoyed face. ask them if they know where this guy is. go off in a huff when they say they dont know.

there is the chance ofcourse that they might try to talk to you, instead of the person behind the door. which is why the angry face has to be convincing.

there is no actual thing as conversion in Hinduism like there is in Christianity and Islam. It's not actively promoted. Hinduism never says that a certain person would burn in hell if they don't convert that's more of a christian and islam thing.

but Hinduism doesn't say that a certain person would go to hell or have a horrible end because they are not Hindus. The idea of reincarnation is not forced on other people of other faiths. There is no concept of an "invitation" or conversions for us.

nothing is "forced" on anyone. obviously Hinduism prescribes a certain way of life to avoid ending up as a dog. likewise Islam/Christianity prescribe a certain life to avoid Hell.

I have always treated them with respect, humility and responded to them with whatever knowledge I have to counter their views because they are emissaries of their religion I am an emissary of mine…

How I behave with them reflects upon my religion…

Do what my dad does, call them inside, make them tea/thanda/pani etc and then have a religious debate with them. They will never return.
