ooh la la. My kinda thread Sadzzzy. Nice idea for a thread.
Jeans - my most favourite pair of jeans is/was this dark beige-coloured one... can't even remember where i bought it from. The Bay? i can't even remember now exactly. Sooooo comfy, from a distance they look like khakis but they're not. Second most favourite pair are your standard blue jeans. The dark-beige ones are my 'comfort' jeans - they go everywhere with me. i've taken them to Pakistan, UAE, all over Canada. My favourite outfit would be: dark-beige jeans + dark-brown summer sandals + light-beige cap + light-pink sweater. (i so know someone is groaning at my lack of colour coordination...but it just goes, you have to see it to understand it). ahem i've gotten a lot of compliments from everyone on that ensemble. With the blue jeans - it's this green hemp-type 'sweater' (not really a sweater, it's got a front zipper that goes all the way up or down so you can wear something inside). um that's when i'm feeling hippy-ish, so i go with a red-coloured bandana with the hemp pull-over... sometimes with the beige jeans, i love to wear this deep-red/maroon full-sleeved v-neck shirt. That's one of my favourites too.
i know i sound totally off in my colour combos... i can just hear someone groaning right now :D But it just works... it's hard to explain. Have to see it to understand it.
ur totally funky Nadz! i so gotta see a pic of u now!
i have two favorite jeans.. ones are the dkny ones and my mum cut em really short so they look like ankle bashers... but im so cool with that.. cus they go really well with any open white shoes.. i dress them up and down with practically everything
b/w green tops look really good with blue jeans
aw thanks Sadzzz.... that made me feel so much better. That's totally super kind of you.
i know the pink+beige combination sounds like something directly out of a frankenstein novel :o But you just have to see it in order to understand...i get the most compliments on that one. hmmm open white shoes - :~/ dang i don't have any :D i am a very sandals type of person. For jogging etc i wear sneakers...but otherwise it's sandals...even during winter, i was wearing these semi-sandal type of shoes.
Yeah - the green hemp top and the blue jeans does look really nice actually. Kindof funky. Plus if it gets cold, the hemp pullover keeps me warm; but if it's hot, you can unzip the top cuz you're wearing a t-shirt etc underneath.
Those are just some of my favs... just thought i'd share them :o
if ur into sandals and flat things… get a pair of white thongs.. they are so cool… i actually prefer white on my feet than black.. i dunno it makes me feel special
but otherwise, black and green are my favorite colours ![]()
green tops rock!
pink and beige does sound good.. it’d look awesome as a wedding outfit
Black and green are my favourite colours too :o
A bit off-topic, sorry, but - do you wear any jewellery, BTW, on casual days? Like with jeans?
The only thing i wear are three silver rings (fake, of course :o ) in my left index finger; they’re part of one set so they go together… i don’t wear anything else, not even earrings. er my kaan kai ched (is that what they call it, i hope) closed twice.
Thanks
The pink is a very, very light pink… actually i’ll take a pic of it tonight and post it later in this thread ![]()
About shoe-wear - yeah, actually i was thinking of that. Saw one of my friends today, she was wearing cool straw-type slippers… now i want those
They looked really funky. Totally flat, basically just a pair of chappals. Looked comfy… ![]()
Do you poeple not find, the better endowned of you ladies of course that turtle necks overly accentuate your bust? It doesn't look so pretty.

hiccup it depends on how tight your turtle necks are. I wear loose ones during winter months a lot and they seem fine.
Jeans: I am so surprised no one has mentioned they like CK yet. I have one of their pairs(the low waist ones, although they arent that low), and I ABSOLUTELY love them. I have had that pair for so long but cannot let it go :( I have tried Old Navy, Gloria, blah blah. But so far CK tops my list.
I suppose dressing up in jeans would be to wear a nice top, which i almost always go. Dressing down would be to wear a simple T-shirt i guess.
sadzz: that wearing a dress with jeans idea-I just love that :D I have tried it a couple times here and it looks different than the usual blouse/shirt style. We used to do that in UET Lahore sometimes.
Jewellery: I sometimes wear rings etc but not a lot. Keep forgetting to wear them :D I do like wearing my ankle bracelets/pazaibs with jeans though. Looks cool, me thinks :D
where do you guys buy your tops from usually? Its so hard to get decent shirts these days. sigh
Ira: Try the blouse tank top combo. But don’t you find that if the turtle neck is loose it looks kinda…saggy?
and not quite right? Maybe it just depends on the figure and how you wear it.
Jewellery wise and makeup wise I am very very plain, I like to make up for it by my clothes, but I usually have no makeup and no jewellry on except my nose pin. No earings no necklace etc.
However if I find something different enough then :k:

how do u dress up/down ur jeans?
[/QUOTE]
dress-up by pulling the jeans up, in some cases extra force might be needed depending on the square-footage....
dress-down --- easy -- you open the button(s), fly or laces.. what ever.. and wiggle around and in most cases it will go down on its own..
hope it helps..
:Pretty:
thanks for the reminder yaar i’d totally forgotten that i even own some paanzebs ![]()
ima go put em on coz i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE em  lekin silver wali kali ho jayein gi na do din mein pani lag ke ![]()
makes mental note to get authentic silver ones next time i go shopping and yah toeringz too…i love em ![]()
Well I look awesome in turtlenecks and no, it doesn't make me look like a Pam Anderson wanna-be. Depends on the figure. I guess girls with a C and D size shouldnt go for it.
