i think "shahid masood" had been the best anybody had ever been at Jawabdeh..
last part was very emotional

Why is Geo so scared of what Dr Shahid Masood has to say, that they have to censor or ban his interview? I thought Geo believed in the freedom of spech and media? Or is it a case ‘do as I say, not as I do’?

Geo ‘Jawabdeh’ host Iftikhar Ahmed resigns in protest

LAHORE: Iftikhar Ahmed, the host of Geo TV show ‘Jawabdeh’, resigned on Sunday after the channel administration refused to air an interview with former Pakistan Television managing director Shahid Masood.

The interview was recorded last week and was being advertised in the group’s The News and Jang newspapers. On Sunday, the Geo TV administration seized the original recording and declined to run it. Iftikhar Ahmed told Aaj Kal he was being pressured to censor parts of the interview but he did not compromise on principles and resigned.

**Geo TV last night showed Iftikhar Ahmad’s ‘Jawabdeh’ programme featuring a hard hitting interview with Dr Shahid Masood, the former Geo anchor and PTV managing director. Earlier, it had been reported that the programme had been ‘pulled’ by the management because of objections by Dr Masood. But by showing the uncensored programme, Geo has silenced media critics who said that it had imposed restraints on Mr Iftikhar Ahmed. **The programme was vintage hard hitting Jawabdeh.

Secrets? The only secret he revealed was how 2 no. he is!

now this is ridiculous, when you are facing big monsters of establishment, ISI, MI, IB, Zardari, Ministry of Information, Sherry Rehnman, Rehman Malik, all corrupt PTV mafia and you are alone, what u can do. Only Supreme Courrt can intervene...yeah the same one with Dogar giving NRO as a blank check to Zardari !

The best things I like about the interview are :

1) The sharp pointed and knowledgeable questions from Iftikhar Ahmed.
2) The very confident answers from Dr. Shahid clearly showing that he has nothing to hide. Unfortunately we dont have that many people like him. Atleast no one can prove him liar or corrupt.

well other than some pointed questions, the interview didn't reveal anything. Establishment, powerful people bla bla bla
