Come on dude, alot of the so called folks back in 1999 when the Mush coup happened were till that day enjoying perks and living the life under the PML Govt and the day the coup happened many of them including lotas like the Chaudhry thugs, Wasim Sajjad, Sheeda Talli Shiekh Rasheed etc. all immediately pledged allegience and switched loyalties in just a day. Keep in mind they were very much the fabric of the Govt that Musharraf had gotten rid of. Hashmi was the only one who could easily have turned coat like these chumps and avoided almost a decade of jail under cooked charges (they could not even find any corruption charges against him so they had to devise a false case of treason against the army). If you spend 10 years in jail for speaking out against the military’s role in politics you have every right to make such statements. Now just because he left PTI makes some folks ‘forget’ this little fact, but keep in mind it was the same stance that had can be attributed to PTI back in 2011 begging him to join their party.

I have been against all these lotas and turncoats incl. Hashmi from day 1 so my opinion has nothing to do with Hashmi leaving PTI. IK was wrong to accept all these lotas after his very successful Minar-e-Pakistan jalsa in October 2011. All these lotas and opportunists joined PTI AFTER that historic jalsa in Lahore! Until then PTI was struggling to make any headway in politics. That was bad judgement on IK’s part. I think he got carried away with all the media hype about the popularity of his party at the time..

And indeed that was Musharraf’s biggest mistake that he allied himself with the most pathetic people (the loan defaulter chaudharies) in politics.

Hashmi is hardly a man of principles. If he can desert NS then he can desert anyone. Same goes for all the other lotas that IK unfortunately has surrounded himself with..
