Re: Javagak 'Javs' Srinadh
Pyaray Gupshup bhaiyyo,
I heard Srinath's commentary yesterday and oh boy, giving the microphone to Srinath seems to be giving the microphone to Inzamam atleast to me. It's not that Srinath doesn't know about Cricket. It's the fact that it's his first journey in the commentary box and he'll take time to settle. I don't know why some of you are criticizing Waqar. Waqar's commentary has a lot of depth about a bowler or any batsmen. In my view, Srinath is no comparison to Waqar but he will be ok as time goes...
Really if you ask me, I miss "RAVI SHASTRI" big time. He's the best in the Indian commentary side along with Harsha Bhogle. I wonder where he is. Sanjay Manjrekar is good and Ramiz Raja is exceptional. I listen to Ramiz Raja with great intent and he does the job at his best. If you look across the subcontinent, then Raja, Shastri and Manjrekar are the top class. But overall, we can add Tony Greig, Geoff Boycott(Cricketing genius), Ian Chappell and Ian Botham. I really like Botham as he's really articulate and not to forget "Arun Lal.(LOLLL)" Arun Lal is taking place of Gavaskar as the most biased commentator with minute commentary skills. What you guys think??
