The Govt.already evucated the area of 10km arounding the plant building, still govt.saying there is no any leaking but a tv channel report of three persons get effection of some radiation due to damge of plant and medical authorities checking the peoples in groups they are effected or not.

^ They have admitted to an explosion and a leak..the explosion is due to hydrogen...they are planning to hand out iodine to the ppl of Japan to protect themselves from radiation :(
9500ppl missing in just one town only..and more that 1700 dead for the moment!! 12hours later they are still having after shocks of 6.6M

A huge explosion happened at the nuclear reactor. the reactor core may melt at any time.

I have family living in the area outside Tokyo .. their house has been damaged .. so that they had to leave it..

Alright, there are three plants in same compound and of plant`s roof exploded by some reaon during strong jolts. and govt.hide it first to annunce becoz fear of another panic while the areas already hit hardly by quakes and tsunami, one day later they announced that they are facing some problem in plants but no worries of any leaks and some time latter they again announce to evucate area 3km arounds and again latter they announce it for 10km and sometime later again for 20km, i think the announcement in parts just becoz of let peoples know step by step to control a panic.
the chemical inside plants need a kind of water pressure to make them cool somehow for work normally for creating some energies but during the quake the shutdown of electricty start the problem when the alternate automatic huge bettery charger to produce electric for plants also get damage in quake and the functions get abnormals, and to making the water pressure or its quality to maintain a required coolness stop work and if that happend the chemicals inside plant start get melting and produce radiations, well right after that when they note the bettery is not working another speciall one board on a plane from another city to deliver it to damage plant, and they got it and everything is under control but still a fear that due to an explosion and the time between replaced bettery some radiation might be mixed in air and can harm the peoples so thats why the evucate the area.
Am living here and know better whats realy going on and what media reporting here, God know if authorties are hiding something.

feel really bad for the people in jp.
It is time the people of the world pushed for more safe and renewable ways of generating energy, nuclear is cheaper but it is not entirely safe.
maybe in future we may see more of this as a better way to live

Really sad, it seems that every year at least 1 or 2 really big disasters occur. Something to ponder deeply about.

Around 11 morning two big blasts demlished the Fukushima neuclear plant and smoke cloud rised up above100 meters, the offical informed that air direction in the area towards the ocean and its plant No.3 plant No.1 had explosion on 3/12 at 1536 which lose the roof of plant.
there is reports that 20micro seabelt(seebelt)!! per hour kind of radaiation found in near the area, reports about several serious injured perosns inside plant.

the total death toll reported by police including sure missings are 4500 and there is a fear of other 20thousands persons not in contact, as time pass they also count in missing list. a very sad tregedy.

by the way Pakistani Media is as usual more excited and thinking spreading worries about neculer plants blasts as i got a call from Pakistan the fear of radiation is very low and below to cause a sweer dangerous envoirment in air its just found 1 micro SB per hour in 20 km away from blast spot and 20 in compound area, normaly Xray had that kind of radiation and its 50 mircroSB,
the situation is not even normal but not even wrost as per Pakistani media.

guys i was in in Yokohama near Tokyo when the earth quake happened, Japanese people are not at all worried, they are the best, i was there for my job related training, 10min after the quake they started working. life is as usual in Tokyo.

Very sad. First earthquake, then tsunami, then nuclear plant explosion and finally volcano erupting :(
The real extent of the nuclear radiation will not be known now - it will be years before the radiation manifests.

Yeah
after somekind of damage on reactor 1 and explosion on reactor 3, offical announced somekind of blast in reactor 2 and reactor 4 is on fire and radiation leaking and found in the area around 400 milliseverts, kinda serious threat for normal envoirment and govt.offical first time anounce that it could be harm within the limit of 20km arounds.
