Jang and Dawn

Dawn in my opinion is a newspaper of international repute.
They just report news without any bias.

Jang on the other hand seems to report news which favors government.
They have conflict of interest. Their actions give appearance of impropriety. They are operating GEO which was competing for RIGHTS for a cricket match. And the rights are granted by Govt agency. Although they were not awarded the rights. But they made such a fuss over the matter.

Jhang has always operated with an agenda.

The Dawn is one of the most neutral papers, and the Jang/News does tend to be less critical of governments whichever is in power, but on the whole it is a pretty widely read paper.

But it must be remembered that whatever is said about press freedom (and it has been improving over the last few years), a lot of Pakistani papers are anti-establishment and fairly investigative. The Urdu papers tend to more conservative in their reporting, while the English-language ones are generally more 'liberal'.

This a statement or discussion?

Dawn and neutral? Dawn is much more pro-govnt then Jang.

How come?

Incorrect. Look at their editorials. Nothing over there is pro-government. The Dawn is one of the most objective newspapers in Pakistan. They report the good and the bad. Right now we are doing pretty good considering our President is trying to lynch a national hero.
