i was on my roof. he was on his. we saw each other and fell in love.. this is what was assumed in the begining since we had our homes on the same street. But we hadnt even seen each other. It was completely arranged. We met on our wedding night

We grew up together, our ammis were best friends since high school. Didn’t ever think I would marry him till we both ended up going to university away from home. We both missed home so started hanging together and then became close friends. After university ended for him he talked to me about getting married I told him yes then he talked to his mom who talked to mine who talked to my dad who talked to his dad and we were engaged

We met, became friends, fell in love, he proposed, I accepted.
Uss ke baad kafi rola shola hova… zalim samaj came in the middle, ye shadi nahi ho sakti jese dialogues bolay gaye…etc etc etc… but at the end ye shadi ho kar hee rahi.

We used to go to tuitions together. Aik din mainay himmat juta kar love letter uss ki jooti mayn daal diya. Aglay din woh jooti uss ki ammy ne pehen li. Bus uss k baad rolla dal gya. letter tu ussay mila koi nai aur dil k armaan ansoon mayn beh gaye. :hinna:

I saw him sing at a university reunion function. He was some 6 years senior to me. The crowd laughed crazily on the parody of a song he sang on stage. I thought he was married & had kids.
Rishtas were coming in & out of nowhere a common friend suggested that there is some one very much like me that she wanted to suggest.
He was in Pakistan at the time by chance. They visited; his family seemed a lot like us. He had the basic requirement I was looking for. There were 2-3 more visits. They proposed & my family agreed. We got engaged on his second visit to Pakistan the same year. Later had our nikkah … now waiting for the rukhsati to be with him …
