My 5 year old daughter just woke up, came to me and announced that she has lost her smile. :(

The way she said it to me made my heart sink.

When I asked her where her smile was, she said that not only is her smile lost but it would take something really funny to make her laugh, because she is hurting, has a sore throat.

I gave her some medicine. She is sitting on my lap and cuddling. Hope her smile returns soon...

i hope that till now here smile must have returned.. i love angels esp when they are smiling.. n love most while they giggle..

aik kaam kejay na.. take a pooh n make that pooh talk to her.. or any stuffy that she loves.. usay gudgudi kejay..

i blv jaado ki jhuppi doesnt work for children to make dem smile.. we really need to do something logically stupid to achieve desires results..

She was happy when her dad came back from work yesterday evening. Her father is her security net, her comfort, her happiness, her everything. The bond I see between my daughters and my husband is one that is extremely special, Masha'Allah. It is an example of unconditional love for each other.

The entire day yesterday, she was sad and down. She did smile off and on but the spark in her eye returned when dad came home.

She is better now Alhamdullilah. Thank you for your wishes and everyone's wishes and concerns. I actually showed her this thread and she can actually read some comments. It makes her feel special to know that so many people care.

getting smiles back will need some kind of charity of smiles.
so being serious at times, is just that. it enables one to reflect on life.
