I want to see a complete change in India’s team next world cup. Seeing the same old faces is getting a bit sickening since even if people like tendulkar have experience they still choke under pressure so their experience is useless. India’s team needs some young, energetic people now. Plus, every single player should be an all rounder so the whole team doesn’t just depend on one player(tendulkar) to carry the team. It should be a team effort. India’s fielding has always been horrible…wish they would improve this too.
I think both India and Pakistan need to be a little less fanatic about cricket. This puts way too much pressure on the teams. They’re all going to die of heart attacks in their 30s with all the stress.

It is a sad end to India, but I did predict that WC runners up have always hard time repeating. With India, one-dimensional team, it became impossible when their players were having trouble during West Indies tour.
I know India and Pakistan like to copy Gilchrist and Jaysuriya, but Afridi, Sehwag and Dhoni are not like them. Razzaq may come close to them, but just that, close. We need to get back to basic, play South Asian Cricket that is filled with fundamentals and passion. Reject this tullay bazzi once and for all.

oh my god! wow I never knew people took cricket to such an extreme in south asia. Were the fans really thinking that India's team would go further after seeing the Bangladesh vs India match? The poor fans :(

Here’s my take like many others. Both these teams don’t have the mental focus required due to many reason. One of the main is, the fear of losing.
Untill their cricket boards and fans become realistic, they will continue to be soft under pressure.
Also, with Pakistan their is the absolute lack of a system that is a huge contributor to the teams performance.
Both these nations, should regroup and play more competitive cricket on bouncy and green pitches. They can savor more wins against each other and become stronger at the same time.
They are not among the super 8 because they are not good enough. Period.
On the light side, Lets hug each other and forget about cricket for a while…
