More than 25 Israeli soldiers dead in fighting in Lebanon now, which shows how Israel has massively miscalculated it's ability to defeat Hezbollah. It is no wonder that Israel is now backing away from challenging Iran and Syria, or even the initially trumpeted full-scale invasion of Lebanon.

Just heard on the news, this is another climb down and U turn by Jewish state.

They are finally comming to terms that :-

  1. They cannot win and cannot do anything about Hizbullah. Hizb is there to stay and may even get stronger.

  2. No chance of getting the captured soldiers back but prisoner exchange like before.

What people don't understand is that you cannot destroy an ideology which lives in the hearts of the people. The more you go against it, the stronger it gets.

If you the world really wanted to rid of Hezbollah for the supposed betterment of Lebanon, then they need to make sure the Lebanese government actually represents the interests of the Lebanese people and not just a few rich businessmen in the North of the country. Saying you support the Lebanese government only makes the people go against the government and makes Hezbollah even stronger.

He is like Bush, they think they can destroy people like Alkeda, Hezbollah, they have transformed into idelogies (how good/bad can be argued) but unless the root cause of their "ideology" is fixed they are not going to die.

Or in another scenario, Hizbiz fire fatoosha katooshas from their neighbor's yard. Then scurry away like little rats. Off course the incoming bombs are going to fall in the neighbors house.

Hizbiz will only die when they will wear proper uniforms, and fight outiside the cities. Right now it is difficult to accept modern day war tactics form bunch of Bidduins.

I am watching myself there is no personal insult in using the word a$$. If it is than everyone should use proper words even avoiding name calling be it Hezbollah or anything. You don’t need to threat me by reminding about permanent banning, just do it. Its not the end of world.

hezbollah standing forces is around 10,000 men

around 9,000 have left for the north, another 1,000 are trapped in the south

and its those that are fighting the israelis

israel has already killed 100 of them

so around 900 are left
