NyFella.. it was very prudent to add the last line to your post.... May Allah forgive all who due to their ignorance elevate the Prophet to the extent of shirk and blasphemy against the creator, Almightly Allah. /QUOTE

how am I going to an extent of shirk and blasphemy?

Naozubillah, in what way did i associate the prophet with the Creator of the Universe?

Salaamz,

As brother Ahmad G mentioned about the Kalima(La Ilaha Illallah, Muhammadur-Rasulullah) written on Allah (SWT) Throne

And also on every gate of Paradise.
Wa-Allah Hu Allam (Allah Knows best).

When Prophet Adam(AS) committed the sin he asked Allah the Almighty(SWT) for forgiveness for 40 years in Sajda.

When Adam (AS) saw the name of Rasul (SAW) on the gate ON his name (SAW) he was forgiven by Almighty Allah (SWT).

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad(SAW) Noor(the pure light) was created before anthing else ever existed.

Then, Almighty Allah (SWT) created the angels, the heavens, the universe, the earth, the plant life, the animals, and finally the humans.

Out of the Love for our Beloved Nabi (SAW) thats why everything exists.
Allah (SWT) created the heavens and the universe and everything else for his beloved Nabi (SAW).

May Allah (SWT) forgive me, if I said it wrong!

NyFella, whilst i agree that Prophet Muhammad (s) is the leader of all of Allah's prophets, i do feel, however, that most if not all of the views you've listed above are founded on baseless and spurious hadith. Perhaps if you have the time it might be useful if you could mention some specific evidence for those views. In upholding Prophet Muhammad's (s) excellence we should limit ourselves to the way in which Allah Most High has described His Prophet (s) or whatever way the Prophet (s) has described himself. This is the safest approach.

There is a hadith that states that Prophet Muhammad (s) was "written" as a prophet whilst Adam (as) was still in a state between spirit and flesh (Musnad Ahmed, Tarikh al-Kabir of al-Bukhari, Tabaqat ibn Sa'd) but this is not the same as him being created before anything existed. And in one sense the Prophet (s) can be described as being light in that he was a "lamp" that spread the light of guidance, as per Qur'an 33:46. But this doesn't mean that he was created from light.

And Allah knows best.

Allah created all beings only to worship HIM.. not for his Prophets. Prophet Muhammad was a human being, he was given the responsibility to convey Allah's message to us.. THAT is his honor. The Diety is Allah.. not any Prophet.

All praise to Allah, Lord of the Universe.

Does this brother not know that the universe was created only that the glory of Rasool-Allah be known to the other things in existance. On each star his name is signed and all the atoms sing his praises. There is no comparison, its a question of pure aqeeda that the beloved of Allah is the leader of the prophets and the reason for creation of other things.

PA
I don’t think loving our Holy prophet (pbuh) is considered worshiping him.

[51:56] And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.

[3:79] It is not meet for a mortal that Allah should give him the Book and the wisdom and prophethood, then he should say to men: Be my servants rather than Allah's; but rather (he would say): Be worshippers of the Lord because of your teaching the Book and your reading (it yourselves).

[3:80] And neither would he enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! would he enjoin you with unbelief after you are Muslims?

[3:144] And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful

[46:9]Say: I am no new thing among the messengers (of Allah), nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.

Assalamo Alaikum,

I totally agree with PakistaniAbroad's last post (kinda skimmed thru the rest of the thread).

Like he pointed out, there's no evidence in the Quran for it.

Also, I would like to know the source of people who believe that the whole world was created just so that people can find out about the glory of Prophet (SAW) and that his (SAW) name is written on Allah's (SWT) throne, etc.

I'd like an answer backed up by Quran and Sunnah.
