It’s disappointing to find no response for such a meaningful thread.
This should not imply that people are less interested towards inter-faith dialogues??
My own views are somewhat similiar.
In present age, I feel that, younger generation considers religion as a pride, which they inherit from their parents.
The problem starts when pride takes the form of ego.
The clashes among people are not just limited till inter-faith clashes, there has been instances when followers of same faith clash with each other.
Since the clash among different faiths have a potential to turn into a clash of civilizations, as some westerners have said, therefore this needs a careful study and dialogue.
As a matter of fact, almost all scholors of every religion claim the same thing — “This or that religion is for peaceful co-existence” …so then where’s the problem? following a religion in it’s true sense?? or Inability of Human being to differentiate between “ego” and “pride” which they draw from their faith…??
