Ahmad G, I think PyariCgudia is questioning whether or not it is true that any man has ever seen anything burning at 1 million Fahrenheit, particularly as the suggestion that things burn black at very high temperatures runs contrary to what is taught in science textbooks today.
Having said that, at the time of the Prophet (saws) mankind did not have the technology to heat anything beyond being red hot, so it would have been impossile to tell that white-hot followed red hot.
Also interesting enough, the burning red--->white---->black sequence is the life cycle of sun-like stars
And at any rate, there is no suggestion that hellfire is like fire in this world. We don't need scientists to claim that fire on earth can possibly burn black in order to be lieve that Hellfire burns black.
After all, fire in this world cannot burn your soul but hellfire can!
