nothing this military govt has done comes close to the hell Karachi was turned into when our 'elected' leaders did all that.
When the MQM was on the rampage, thank God Gen.Babar,BB and brave LEA's saved us. It was not a perfect operation, but much better than letting the MQM rampage continue.
Karachi is not in the same position because of the thrashing the previous govt gave it, and because this dictator you love has made the same killers his partners in crime.
So many people are convinced that Musharraf is behind it. Ridiculous. Isn't it obvious that whoever was behind the attacks wanted to make the gov't look bad? I mean, take a corrupt judge off the circuit and its like you've done something haraam.

Attacking the GEO offices scared the crap out of everyone, and was intended to get people out of their homes to protest ag/ the gov't and help get the judge back on the circuit so more higher ups can continue breaking the law. Not to mention to turn the media against the government, when so far, its had a tepid support of the Musharraf government.

hey so if we are going to say extreme measures for extreme circumstances were fine in the case of MQM terrorists, then by all means extreme measurements for extreme circumstances are fine for current circumstances as provincial nationalist militants, religious militants and terrorists.
those killers were partners in crime one way or the other, and the meetings all thhe bhagoras have been having with each other indicate quite clearly that they would have no problem teaming up if it meant they got the power. so nothing new here.

I didn't call them political "peons". I called them "peons". Somewhere else I called these idiot "typists" which is what lawyers in Pakistan are. Typists! These are not your ordinary typists, they are border-line-illiterate typists! These trouble- making-public-property-destroying-typists got what they deserve: a nice chitrole in their bench warming buttcheeks.
