I dont know what his intentions are.. but to the best of my knowledge and Allah knows best, this interpretation is not from any Islamic sources. Islam may be derived from the word ‘salaam’ (i dont know) but it means ‘submission’ and nothing else (in this context).. lets call a jack a jack.. no need to twist around what ‘Islam’ stands for to please the media..
