“One holy book” is powerless if you don’t meet its prerequisite. “guidance for those who fear God and believe in judgement day” etc..
So no fear of God no believe in meeting him. Book is not going to help.
Its books prerequisite. Sort of "you have not done one year of collage calculus, you wont get much out of this text " like that.

IS = person C
That passage was equivalent to telling white dudes, who owned slaves in US.
That you can have those women, but you give child your name , share in property.
So those women could earn their way to freedom.
You treat them well. So as a result hardly any women stayed slaved.
So That verse has played out with producing results.
Now IS is trying to reverse the direction. Trying to put free women in slavery etc.
Things of that sort.

you can say. It is a monarchy. We see democracies also have produced some dictators so it is hard to find all good in a king. Till now dissident voices are being suppressed all over the globe, not in that harsh way but in the name of preventive detention and other policing tools. It will be good if citizens are given more rights more freedom. What I said one should appreciate king Abdullah for positive reforms done by him.

The other point here is not to find all answers in one book or one person. Particularly if some of 1 billion people dont get it and are using it to blow things up, rape etc.

If you compare with different parts of world then yes changes seems little but for SA these changes may be significant. By appreciating the king I am not justifying any wrong doing. I think one should work for her own salvation; masses should be awakened. They have to decide what system they need, what suits best for them, for their betterment. That is all.

I don't even want to watch the video, it is a disgusting concept.
But don't you think it's a little fishy? I mean, how many 5th century-mental-dwellers do you know? Yeah, we all know them. They have unkept beards and sit in the masjid all day, and they are broke and have no jobs. Comon. Every city has a few.

I know because thousands are being funneled to Syria to join them. Willingly. There are people running out of there and telling eyewitness accounts.
