Re: Ishaaq or Ismaeel ?
If you go through Surah e Saafaat, mentioning the incident of sacrifice, it is very much clear that it was not Hazrat Ishaq (AS). The Bushra (good news) about birth of Hazart Ishaq (AS) is mentioned after the incident of sacrifice.
Moreover, at various places , where visit of angels to Hazrat Ibrahim (who were destined to Qom e Lut) is mentioned, it is mentioned that God will raise prophets from Ishaq’s decedents. So, how come a son whose decedents were chosen for prophet hood was asked to be sacrificed at an early age?
Moreover, contrary to popular version of Prohpethood in Bani Ismail and Bani Ishaq, there was a third son of Hazrat Ibrahim (known as Bani Qatoora who lived in Madyan area), whose decedents were also entrusted with prophethood.. Quran mentions Hazrat Shoaib (AS) who was decedent from this third son of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
