what is it that you feel you have failed at? Honestly, every time I fail I know i am one step closer to getting it right..:D surely, this doesn't apply to every situation..

Learn to learn from your mistakes everytime and you will be good. Maybe We can help if you'd like to share.

I don't think so i had some higher goals........ i was very optimistic............... but now i am no more optimistic........ i am just trying. trying to live............ that's it.......... my goals and aims have been changed now............

I read it somewhere that a greatness of a man isn't in how high hi rises but its in how many times he rises after each fall .. :) ..

no one has a perfect life, I believe. The difference comes in how one learn from his failures to achieve what he could or what he want to .. ..

sharing my personal experience here just to make this thread a little helpful for someone who look at them selves as failures.

  • I wanted to join Computer Science field an my mother put the restriciton taht you can be anything but a computer professinoal. Events of life (which were biggest failures of my life) made me to end up in Computer Science. otherwise i would have been a mechanical engineer or some thing else.

  • Got rejected in Microsoft interviews at the very last stage .. big blow for me .. but it made me realize what is wrong in me .. and i worked on it, ended being in one of the other top company.

So its really upto a person, how and what he learns from his failures.

I don't know....

If I look my own contribution in my life... its disappointing even for me.
If I see God's plan... I am happy..

(like Ali(pbuh) said I recognize God from failing my plans :) )

Hun, the only failure I see is your negative/pessimistic attitude. Trust me, you will better if you share it. You can IM me if you’d like. I know GS has helped me tremendously in realizing where I was wrong and how much control I actually had over everything <this is regarding my personal life.

Professionally, OMG I failed miserably and embarrassed myself a million times in front of others. Probably looked like an idiot..but whatever! unless you have gone through these events, you would never realize what you have accomplished.

Professionally - vut profession.. I was a student 5 years ago and I still am one :yawn: eagerly awaiting to break free into the professional world!

Personally - I’ve come a long way but there’s more that needs to be worked on.

Overall - happy Alhumdulillah. Always complaining like a typical frustrated student but always keeping in mind I have the opportunities and resources available to me that plenty of others do not.

Professionally: as barbiecue so nicely put it - waiting to break into the professional world but still far exceeded what i thought possible five years ago

Personally: family is happy and healthy. thats all i really ask for
