Is this failure of Pakistan's diplomacy?

Pakistan has made all efforts to block India from joining OIC. But now India is poised to join ASEAN. Indian Prime Minister is in Bali to join the ASEAN meet. Also Gulf states have invited India to join six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Indian diplomacy has just handed Pakistan a stunning slap in the face, delivered by Pakistan’s own fellow Muslim states. The six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council has agreed that India will be invited to join its exclusive club – so far limited to Japan and the United States – of “dialogue partners” with the inside track on policy discussions, strategic and investment planning. Pakistan has been angling for years for the GCC, composed of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, to give it a form of honorary membership. Now India, with its large labor force and growing economic interests in the Gulf states, has overtaken Pakistan to grab the inside track.

This is less to do with Indian diplomacy and mostly to do with the growing Indian affluence globally. Inviting India benefits the GCC

When India was not part of it, it was a useless organization, now look at the indians throwing praises at it, what idiots.

I think about the only advatange of GCC membership is that they have separate counters in Dubai and Jeddah airports fro GCC citizens.

Definately true. Pakistan and Pakistanis need to break away from theis unconditional pro-Arab policies.

i wonder where the islamic world is headed...the arabs are so irresponsible. the whole world keeps kicking their arse and they keep kissing the feet of countries like india, us etc and hold very little, if any, regard for sane muslim coutries like pakistan.
