No, not really…The universe since the Big Bang has been expanding. The new and old galaxies all travel away from each other as if it’s still exploding. It’s very unlikely that another universe will ram into ours.

all the spiral galaxies took shape because of the direct collision or close pass by of two galaxies. Spiral galaxies are pretty common in our universe, which means that collision of two galaxies is not that uncommon either.
