As has been already mentioned, there is nothing wrong with a man shaving his chest.

Here’s what I could find:

 Praise be to Allaah.   

 Hair is of three types: 

 1 – That which sharee’ah commands us to leave alone and forbids us to remove any of it.

 2 – That which sharee’ah commands us to remove. 

 3 – That concerning which sharee’ah says nothing; it does not tell us to remove it or forbid us to do so. 

 That which sharee’ah commands us to leave alone is the beard and eyebrows, from which nothing should be removed. 

 That which we are commanded to remove is armpit hair and pubic hair, and the moustache in the case of men. 

 That concerning which sharee’ah says nothing is forgivable (and is the matter of personal choice), because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “What is halaal is that which Allaah has permitted in His Book, and what is haraam is that which Allaah has forbidden in His Book, and what He has remained silent about is forgivable.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1726; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi. 

 That includes hair in the nose, on the chest, and on the legs and arms.

 It says in al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah (18/100): 

 **With regard to shaving body hair in the case of a man, it is permissible according to the Maalikis, and it was said that it is Sunnah. What is meant by the body is everything except the head.** 

 With regard to shaving the head, we have discussed the ruling on that in detail in the answer to question no. 14051. 

 And Allaah knows best.

lol im not getting obsessed yaar! and if u mention yourself your hair it all over your stomach and is irritating what else do u want me to say? there was no need to mention it in the first place
yeah im a girl and i have hair on my face, as does every other woman in the world, except maybe ‘some’ chinese girls.
and i’ve been trying to grow a beard- to scare men with hairy bellies, but too bad my hair is just peach fuzz and it doesnt grow

though this link does not satisfy me.... i do not know abt men ...

but i surely know abt women .... they cannot remove from their body parts like arms , legs etc. unless they are as hairy as men... it is said if it appears like men then remove them so as to unmatch from men.

moreover HAZrat MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H) said ( woh hum main say nahin jo eyebrows change ker day..... he fied that person)

Volume 7, Book 72, Number 779:

Narrated Abu Huraira :

I heard the Prophet saying. "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, cutting the moustaches short, clipping the nails, and depilating the hair of the armpits." 

(Sahih Bukhari)

Book 49, Number 49.3.3:

Yahya related to me from Malik from Said ibn Abi Said al-Maqburi from his father that Abu Hurayra said, "There are five things from the fitra: cutting the nails, trimming the moustache, removing the hair from the armpit, shaving the pubic region and circumcision."

Btw... there is no prohibiton on women removing hair from their arms, legs, etc. with the exception of eye brows, which also has some details attached to it.

Shaving/waxing/sugaring a man's chest is not advised but not forbidden also, so carry on. On the subject of eyebrows, ladies can't mess around with them, matlab shaping them, plucking them, resizing them, making a arc et cetera.
