Re: Is organ donation allowed in Islam?
I don’t believe in this. But even if we were to go with this view, the organ will *eventually *decompose. I mean, the person you donated to will die sometime. And then you can say it “returned to the dust”. But this is a stupid answer to a stupid argument.
A family friend works for some charity here in Lahore which implants donated eyes and the other day he was talking about how people can’t control their excitement as the date of their operation approaches. How happy they are at the prospect of seeing the world.
You know, I often wonder why most Mullahs go against anything that involves helping other human beings. After all, humanity is what Islam is all about.
