Let’s debunk this ridiculous myth once and for all.
Imran was supposedly supported by Hamid Gul, Gen Pasha, and Gen Zaheer - in other words the most powerful men of their time yet they couldn’t make him win in their own backyard - Punjab!!!
But we have seen how establishment’s support made Bhutto a Foreign Minister, then an illegal Prime Minister over Mujib through electoral success in Punjab.
We have seen how Zia’s establishment made an illiterate and dumb Punjab constable Nawaz Sharif a King of Punjab - he was finance minister to CM to three times PM, and now a multi billionaire.
This is how your profile looks like when establishment truly ‘supports’ you - they make you the King of Punjab.
