just heard his interview he said he isnt leaving and coming back to lahore where he'll go to governor house.
Every small bit is magnified to 200,000 times and shown on rubbish channels as biggest news of the century..

I guess no one is remotely bothered to comment on the interview which is quite an eye opening admission.
I'll start. I don't really follow him, but I have given him credit on this forum for his refreshingly diplomatic handling of the situation. Sadly, Nawaz Sharif likes to send him last minute notice to bail his government out of sticky situations. But once the situations calms down, he goes back to his trollish ministers to undo all the efforts and create new set of tensions.
Anyway, I appreciate him for his brutal honesty. He's right that overseas Pakistani greatly care about police and justice system in Pakistan. Those overseas Pakistanis are not some crooked businessmen that would like to see Sharif brothers remain in power so they can enjoy extra perks, favours and privileges (we all know how Sharif brothers maintain their support and influence). Most of those overseas Pakistanis would genuinely like to move back and lead 'normal' working lives or create their own opportunities if law and justice system improves. They don't pay bribes, they don't want to feel threatened and blackmailed by the local mafias. Kudos to him for mentioning his government's total apathy and incompetency to tackle gang rape which seems to shame the Punjab section of newspapers on daily basis.
Now don't give the usual typo figures to show how debt injected economy is looking so good on some graphs. Economy also 'improved' in Musharraf's era, many people also moved back with high hopes, and built their houses in Pakistan, but when they realised that pseudo-economic growth shown on government documents hasn't made any difference to law and order situation and living standards on the ground. They were quick to come back. I'm sure we all know at least one such family that decided to move back to Pakistan for good under Musharraf's era, but only to come back feeling painfully disappointed after just few years of living there.

Ch. Sarwar exposes government's incompetency and admits his own powerlessness. Few hours later uncle Bhagi calls a press conference and accuses him of being part of the London meeting (perfect timing eh) Ch. Sarwar denies the allegations. Geo anchors start advising the government to kick him out.
How cunningly convenient.
