I don't think it has to do with sexual orientation? We do kiss our female friends on the cheek dont we?.... I have seen Pakistani parents kissing their kids on the lips.
Kissing on the lips is considered a lot more 'intimate'. Anyways, neither me nor any of my friends kiss each other on the lips. We're just not comfortable doing that. :/ My parents have never kissed me on the lips either. So it just seems like a very strange/indecent thing to do.
Though some people consider hugging as indecent :S
It is an interesting topic to discuss "MR THOO THOO"... Kiss between two members of the same gender is old here in America... lol :p... When parents can kiss their children on the lips, why is there a taboo for same genders ?

Is it wrong morally and religiously to kiss same gender on the lips??? Or is it not acceptable by the society? Girls kissing girls on the lips.... Boys kissing boys on the lips.... lol :p ....
Kissing by parents should not be mixed by adults of same sex (or even different sex) kissing each other on lips.
