dude, its not okay to slap anyone in the office or outside the office. Its a sexual Harassment case, he could be from a different company, different country and he could be boss of ur bosses, but he can get in trouble if u report to proper authorities.

He wants to be friend with you , why on earth you think that he wants you to be his boy friend ? If you despise him and he did not mind it and if he is a nice guy he might want to take care of the misunderstanding you have against him.
What kind of proof you have that he is gay ? In KSA he will be severely punished if he is caught having any kind of inappropriate relation with another man.

He was trying to impose his frndship on me, and he clearly mentioned in the mails tht he wanted me to be his boy frnd. yeah if he ever get caught thn he will get punishment

That clears it and his emails are a proof which you can use for an appropriate action to be taken by your superiors or HR department. You do not have to slap , kick , smack or do anything other than reporting him to your boss and his boss or HR department. If you cannot prove that those emails came from him then you are out of luck. You have to have some kind of proof for any action to be taken by your boss and his boss or your HR department.

Your working in Saudi? I mean the news is always showing saudi's strict punishments, chopping hands fingers etc death penalty.. Out of curiousity surely ur work environment know hes gay.. So what are the punishments for sexual harrasment in a work place? Surely being gay wont be held against him as he can sue for discrimination.. Hitting him is not an option. If its unbearable complain to your seniors not much we can do will change his behaviour towards u

Most of the guys know tht he is gay in our department, i don’t have any problem with him until he really starts bothering me. We are working in big organization and mostly people are from different companies.

Anyhow, i will try sort out with our HR. It’s really embracing to talk with HR…wht i am going to tell him tht one gay is bothering me.

save all his texts, record his harassment on your cell. give it to your HR. if they dont take actions then....

yap i am in saudia, and all these punishments for those who really get caught red handed, i mean if they really get caught doing tht kind of act....otherwise everything is normal here. yap most of the guys in our department know tht he is gay. the punishments of sexual harassment is depends upon the proofs, if u have really gud proof thn thy will immediately deport the guy.

You have to standup for yourself brother. He is bothering you , your productivity might get hurt . He seems to be out of his mind by not mending his ways. He needs to be shown the door now since you have already used all the polite methods. But be very careful about the proofs you have. If you do not have solid proofs , your talk to HR might backfire and he might become more hostile against you. If you have proof , you can tell him that you have proof of his advances and if he does not leave you alone you will report him to HR , that might stop him in his tracks and you might be saved from the embarrassment of talking to HR . I know in our societies it is so difficult to talk about or complain about these kind of things , people will blame the victim in many cases if the aggressor is a bully.
