I agree that you can like a few people at the same time but you can't love two or more people equally.

As for the four wives - even the Prophet (saw) didn't love all of his wives equally. He loved one more than the rest. Sheikh Khalid Yaseen in his "Advice to Muslim Women" lecture has something interesting to say on this topic: Once a man chooses to have more than one wife, he is obligated to provide for both wives equally. He must equally share his time, wealth and body. But you cannot ask him to cut his heart into 2 pieces equally, as well. He will love one more than the other.

Romantic love is found between two people, no more. Beyond that, it's infatuation and physical desire.

Yes, you can love your mother, your sister, or your children as much as the others, but those are DIFFERENT types of love.

would be hard though since we all have one heart and it is not an accomodation for two. so probably the idea of love is what we are talking about rather than love.

Islamically, agreed 100% that men can love more than one woman at one time. Biologically that's also possible. But generally there are some individuals who really are capable of being with more than one person and loving each for their qualities and living peacefully that way. Allah has made a world of infinate variety so I find it hard to believe that people couldn't love more than one person at a time. Although it seems that women are more monogomous by nature than men.

now it is common to love with 2 or more ppl at the same time ...i do not know it is trend
or requirement...coz before marrige a girl wants to choose a perfact or atleast acceptable person ...perhaps that 's why she builds her relations with many person....it is right or wrong , i do not kanow , but it happens.

It is the stupidity of boys that girls now develop relations with many boys. Ok. Girls should be allowed for it. But girl should ask her new boy freind to first kill her first boy friend. There should be real fight between the two. If first boy friend wins the fight ... then he should spit on the face of that stupid girl friend and should allow her to carry on her relations with new (who lose) boy friend. Then old boy friend should completely leave that girl friend and should find more girl friends for him.

If old boy friend loses the fight .... Either he should fight till his death. He should not lose in anyway. He should prefer to die. But in case he really loses ... then he should allow that girl friend to spit on him and go with new boy friend. If the girl friend really does so ... then .... he should not give up her for ever. He should keep on trying to improve his powers and abilities. At suitable time ... he should again fight with that new boy friend and shoud beat him ... he should fight till death. If he beats new boy friend and that girl friend feels ashamed of her ownself ... then he should forgive that girl friend. And should marry her.

It's commom but real tough! I've been in love with 2 people for over one year now and it keeps getting tougher cause I cant hurt either one of em! Let's call them A and B ....

A and I were together 7 years and we were real good together, not even a single fight or even an argument during this time. Afetr 7 years of being together the only thing left to do was get married but his family didnt approve and he has ascary ass dad so we decided to stop seeing each other but obviously couldnt stop and then one day I got real angry and decided to end it with him for good and since I didnt wanna mourn the relationship I started seeing guy B, a random guy I had known only a week... thinking I'll just make it easier to get over A. Now the crappy part is that B turned out to be the nicest most sweetest guy ever and it's just too hard to hurt him... noway I'll ever be able to do that! Things got way more comfortable and easy with B than they ever were with A, I could be more myself infront of B and be silly and jump and sing around him and all that. Then A comes back in picture suggesting he cant be without me and we should get married on our own and eventually family will approve and knowing he is too much in love with me there's noway in hell I'm telling him I ve already moved on and blah blah blah!!! Well point being either Im in love with both of em of neither :p it bugs the hell out of me but an just going with the flow!! I wonder who I'm gonna end up with?? HELP?

I m not going to "help" you. If such situation happens with boy then he should "manage" it. If it happens with girl (like you) ... then she should not be allowed to "enjoy" this situation anymore!

u know islamic perspective on this one is confusing i dislike the idea of my guy being anything but managomus. i still stand by my opinion that heart is a place for one. and for most guys that place is occupied by themselves so yeah!
