my maternal grandmom is chinese, but da rest of my grandparents are pakistanis. even then, da chinese influence on our facial features have badly distorted our pakistani features!!
in my lifetime, i’ve been mistaken for a:

1. nepalese
2. eurasian
3. anglo-indian
4. malay
5. chinese
6. pakistani

now tats really frustratingggggg!!! It wasnt easy growing up in singapore and contantly being mistaken for some weird exotic foreigner. Any of u guppies hav some similar trauma to share here? will make me feel better

I’ve been mistaken for Romanian, Kurd, Iranian, Turk and Spanish.

There was this Bengali guy in my class and he never spoke to me for the first 6 months, then one day he saw me speaking to this Indian in Hindi outside school and we became friends after that, he said “I thought you were one of them Kurdish sort of Middle Eastern tossers!”

My grandmother's grandmother was Nepalese. The rest of my family is mainly Kashmiri and Pathan. So we have some different features in our family also. But I'm usually mistaken for either Turkish or Latina.
