well i hav no complaints abt da way i look, i’m grateful to be wat i am, yes unique
its fine to look exotic in exotic countries. here in singapore there are only 4 ethnic groups, chinese, malays, indians(south) and others (mostly eurasians).
when i was growing up, ppl seldom think out of the box. they juz place u in one of the 4 groups:hinna: tats fine with me but when it comes to official matters i do hav to clarify my race and religion. and gawddd those weird stares
having to constantly explain myself everytime i claim to be paki muslim was frustrating.
not to mention urdu/hindi/punjabi speaking ppl openly talking bad abt me rite infront of me, not knowing i can understand those languages!!!

i guess i’m juz so used to it now… plus singaporeans are used to exotic foreigners too now hehe.

hehe Nisa I had the same problem. They could never tell me apart and would start to speak Malay to me…and I would be standing staring at them…becuz I don’t understand Malay…then I have to tell them to “stop” and tell them “Speak NO Malay”. And then they get shock of their lives
