Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
Deffo for a woman- U guys dont have the " Cleanliness & Grooming" package that is inherently subscribed to us and deffo not the" Childhood and Motherhood" priviledge, along with the monthly Menstruation aspect that evolves into the Menopause - our emotional tenacity is mentally co existent and we are holistic souls- whilst I totally appreciate a man’s role in this world- a woman’s encapsulates a multitude of emotions/ physicailities/ and the fact that we are nurtures as well as all the rest- I feel we definitely are unique- and it is harder being a woman in this world:k:
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
doesn’t compare with getting hit in the balls with a cricket ball
lets look at this by the respective responsibilities of both genders:
Men - Earn money, support the household, support old parents, etc. etc.
Women - kitchen.
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
I think you’re joking. Anything this ridiculous can only be a joke because you cannot possibly really believe that.
We carry a life within us for 9 months, then labor to give birth to a human being, then try to recover from being cut open, bleeding non-stop for 40 days, then spend the next year breast feeding plus dealing with our bodies changing so much. You’re trying to trivialize that? If it was a walk in the park, we wouldnt need to be doped up and wouldnt need the epidural. Ever hear of a man taking one?
Not to mention the 9 months of pregnancy beforehand, recovery and what follows later.
Umm…unless you get hit in the balls for 9 months in a row every single morning and night…
If the kitchen was the only responsibility women had…the Prophet (saw) would not have mentioned a mother 3 times before a father in reference to yoru responsiblities towards your parents. You owe more to your mother for putting you on this planet - 3 times more.
If the kitchen is all we’re supposed to do…thats awesome! When we get married and our husbands asks us why the house is a mess we’re going to refer to your post and say “see that?” “I dont have to clean, get pregnant, have kids, feed them or you for that matter, educate them, raise them, nothing! I dont even have to put up with your aging parents (plus, its not like girls have parents)! Yay! All I have to do is make ONE delicious handi everyday and thats it”!
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
I think its difficult for a single woman and a single man.
Childbirth and all other things related to women are chosen for them by nature and I believe that nature is fair with both sexes. I am thankful to be a woman, coz inshAllah one day I ll go thru childbirth, thats something i never wanna miss. May Allah (swt) be on myside.
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
Woman! =D
1) Women have periods every month and menopause when they are older; pain and becoming a monster(moodswings) for a few days isn't fun =D
2) Childbirth and 9 months carry a child.
3) You have to think how u look ( weight, skin condition, hair, nails etc.) or people will talk bad things.
4) It doesn't matter how fat,old or ugly man u are, u will find a spouse ;D
5) Men dont have to bother to learn how to cook or clean because they can say "its womens job".
6) In work life people will always take u more seriously if u are a guy.
7) Men can play video games without hearing any complaining that its children's job to play even when they are middle age men..
8) Parents usually dont ask from guys so often "where have u been" "what have u done" etc.
9) Guys dont have to be afraid be or walk alone night.
10) Women puts more effort in their relationships, example women have to constantly keep up with their good friends, or usually it breaks. Man can be good friend with someone one day and then not to talk with him a while and still next time when they meet they are good friends.
11) Even they are same age women usually looks older than men.
haha dont take seriously of course men have hard time too =D But this is my point of view because im a woman:D And even though I think that women have a harder time, I love being woman :) But yeah life is hard for both; men and women.
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
it's hard for both.
in all the various aspects of life. if a man can't find a job, society looks down at him disapprovingly, they wouldn't do the same if it was a woman that was finding it tough in the job market
men in female dominated jobs have it just as bad as a woman in a male dominated work environment.
sexual double standards do exist and women most often lose out, more in desi society than in western society(it does exist, like a girl that sleeps with a guy on the first date isn't considered marriage material even in the west)
Re: Is it harder being a Man or a Woman in this world?
Im just thinking out loud, if being a woman is so rough then how come there’s more drag queens than drag kings? and why there’s more male to female operations than the latter? Do transgender females even get periods and are capable of having babies? :khums:
