Thats true; but being respectful, kind and caring, is sometimes misunderstood for unquestioning obedience… Which in islam is not permitted, especially when you believe they are wrong.

As a discerning child even; who knows basic right from wrong, to obey in matters against islam, has the right to say as such or disagree. That does not constitute as disrespect, unless the person is being outright abusive.

Somtime we know that parents are wrong and what they ordered us to do is wrong. S if we don’t obey them than it means we are not obedient. Is this Islam not permit?
